01Who we are

Nuno Cloud LLC ("Nuno", "we", "us") is a cloud and platform engineering consultancy based in Houston, Texas, United States. We run the website nuno.io.

This policy explains what personal information we collect through the website and when you contact us, why we collect it, who we share it with and the choices you have. We are responsible for that information.

This policy does not cover data we handle for clients during paid work. That is governed by the agreement we sign with each client.

02What we collect and why

The website has no user accounts, no logins and no payments. We collect only the following.

When you use the contact form

Your name, email address, phone number (optional) and your message. Our website sends them to us as an email, so we can reply and talk about your project. The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, a check that tells people and bots apart. Turnstile looks at technical signals from your browser and connection, such as your IP address.

When you book a call

The "Book a call" buttons open a booking page hosted by Google Calendar. Google collects your name, email address and any notes you add, and sends the booking to our calendar. We use them to hold the call and follow up. Google's own privacy policy also applies to that page.

When you email or call us

Whatever you choose to send us, such as your name, contact details, company and the content of your message. We use it to reply and to keep a record of our conversation.

When you browse the website

We use Google Analytics to understand how the website is used, for example which pages are visited, how visitors arrived, the type of device and browser, the approximate location (city or country) and clicks on buttons such as "Book a call". Google Analytics uses cookies and receives your IP address. We do not send what you type into the contact form to Google Analytics.

Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, also measures page performance and visits without cookies, and keeps standard technical logs (IP address, browser and the pages requested) to run and protect the website.

When you arrive from one of our ads

We advertise on Google. When you click one of our Google ads, Google adds a click ID to the address of the page, and Google cookies let us measure whether the visit led to an action we care about, such as sending the contact form or opening the booking page. Google may also use website visits to build advertising audiences.

When we do business together

If you are a client, a prospect, a partner or a supplier, we keep business contact details (name, role, work email, phone and company) and our correspondence, to manage the relationship, send proposals and invoices, and meet our legal and tax obligations.

The website also offers links to email us, call us, download our contact card (vCard) and visit our profiles on LinkedIn, X, YouTube and Instagram. Those actions happen in your own email app, phone or the other site, under their own terms.

For details on cookies and browser storage, see our Cookie Policy.

04Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the website and the business, and only as needed:

  • Cloudflare, for hosting, content delivery, security, bot protection (Turnstile), cookieless page measurement and delivering contact form emails.
  • Google, for Google Analytics, Google Ads conversion measurement and call booking through Google Calendar.
  • Other providers we use to run the business, such as email, accounting and professional advisers, under duty of confidentiality.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger, sale or reorganization of the business.

Google uses data from Google Analytics and Google Ads under its own terms. You can read how in How Google uses information from sites that use its services.

05How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the reason we collected it, or as long as the law requires, for example for tax records. Contact messages and business correspondence are kept while they are useful for the conversation or the relationship. Analytics data is kept for the period set in Google Analytics, then deleted by Google. When we no longer need information, we delete it or make it anonymous.

06How we protect it

The website is served only over HTTPS, the contact form is protected against bots, and access to messages and business records is limited to the people who need it. No method of sending or storing data is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

07Your choices

  • You can use the website without giving us any personal details. The contact form and booking are optional.
  • You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
  • You can control how Google shows you ads in Google ad settings.
  • If we send you an email you did not ask for, reply and ask us to stop, and we will.

08Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • know what personal information we hold about you and get a copy of it;
  • have it corrected if it is wrong;
  • have it deleted;
  • object to or limit how we use it, including for analytics and advertising;
  • withdraw consent you gave us;
  • receive your information in a portable format.

United States. Several US states, such as California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and Texas, give residents privacy rights like these. We do not sell personal information, and we will not treat you differently for using your rights.

European Union and United Kingdom. You have the rights above under the GDPR and UK GDPR. You can also complain to the data protection authority where you live or work.

To use any of these rights, email info@nuno.io. We may need to confirm who you are before acting on a request, and we will reply within the time the law sets. You can also act through an authorized agent.

09Children

The website is meant for businesses and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, email info@nuno.io and we will delete it.

10International transfers

Nuno is based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. If you contact us from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and handled in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from yours. When the law requires it, we rely on safeguards such as the standard contractual clauses our providers offer.

11Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the website or the law changes. We will post the new version on this page and change the "Last updated" date at the top. If a change is significant, we will make it clear on the website.
