01About these terms
These terms apply to your use of nuno.io (the "website"), run by Nuno Cloud LLC ("Nuno", "we", "us"), 17350 State Highway 249, STE 220, Houston, Texas 77064, United States.
By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it. Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy explain how we handle personal information and cookies.
02What the website is
The website gives information about Nuno and our cloud and platform engineering services, with articles, case studies and ways to contact us or book a call. It has no user accounts and sells nothing: you cannot buy a service or make a payment on it.
The articles, case studies and other content are general information. They are not professional advice for your situation. Every system is different, so please do not rely on them to make technical, security, financial or compliance decisions without advice that takes your setup into account.
03Working with Nuno
Nothing on the website is an offer or a contract to provide services. All paid work is done under a separate written agreement signed by both sides, such as a proposal, statement of work or master services agreement.
That agreement sets the scope, price, responsibilities and other terms of the work. If it conflicts with anything on the website or in these terms, the signed agreement wins.
04Using the website fairly
Please use the website lawfully and do not:
- try to break into, test the security of, or disrupt the website or the systems behind it without our written permission;
- send spam, malware or misleading messages through the contact form or booking page;
- pretend to be someone else when you contact us;
- copy the website in bulk with automated tools in a way that puts a load on it, or use it to build a competing service;
- use the website in any way that breaks the law or harms others.
If you find a security issue, please report it to info@nuno.io so we can fix it.
05Our content and trademarks
The website and its content, including text, articles, case studies, graphics, the Nuno name and logos, belong to Nuno Cloud LLC or are used with permission. You may read, print and share links to our pages for personal use or for your internal business use. You may quote short parts with a link back to the source. For anything else, ask us first.
Code and templates we publish elsewhere, for example on GitHub, are covered by the license that comes with them.
Names and logos of other companies, products, certifications and open source projects (for example cloud providers or Kubernetes) belong to their owners. We use them only to describe our skills and the technologies we work with. Their use does not mean those owners endorse Nuno.
Case studies are anonymized: we do not name clients. The results in them come from specific projects and are not a promise of the same results for you.
06Links to other websites
The website links to other websites and services, such as Google Calendar for booking calls, social networks and documentation from technology vendors. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. Their own terms apply when you use them.
07No warranties
We work to keep the website accurate and available, but we provide it "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no promises or warranties, express or implied, about the website or its content, including that it is accurate, complete, up to date, free of errors or viruses, or fit for a particular purpose. We may change, pause or remove any part of the website at any time.
08Limits on our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Nuno and its owners, employees and contractors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or business, that come from using or not being able to use the website or relying on its content.
Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Our liability for paid work is set only by the signed agreement for that work.
09Your responsibility
If you misuse the website or break these terms and that leads to a claim against Nuno by someone else, you agree to cover the reasonable costs and losses that result, including reasonable legal fees.
10Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute about the website or these terms will be handled by the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas, and you and Nuno agree to that venue.
11General
If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a part of these terms right away, we can still enforce it later. These terms, with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, are the whole agreement between you and Nuno about the website. They do not replace any signed agreement for services.
12Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and change the "Last updated" date at the top. If you keep using the website after a change, the new terms apply.
