Cloud Cost and EKS Review

Know where your cloud money goes, how safe your Kubernetes is in production, and the plan to fix both.

A senior engineer on every review.

Who it is for

Teams that need answers, not another dashboard.

  • B2B SaaS and fintech teams on AWS, with the bill growing faster than revenue.
  • Teams running EKS without a dedicated platform engineer.
  • CTOs who need numbers before a board meeting, a funding round or a SOC 2 audit.
  • Clusters close to the end of standard support, where AWS starts charging for extended support.
What you get

Four scores from 1 to 5, with the evidence behind each one.

  • Cost

Where the money goes, by team and service, and what is waste.

  • Reliability

How the platform behaves when a node, a zone or a deploy fails.

  • Security

Access, secrets, network exposure and audit readiness.

  • Upgrades

Kubernetes and add-on versions, support dates and upgrade risk.

  • Quick wins

Changes you can apply first, with the expected monthly saving for each.

  • A roadmap

Ordered by money saved and risk removed.

  • A readout call

Scores, quick wins and the plan, presented to your team, with the written report to keep.

  • Everything as code

Any change Nuno proposes comes as a pull request to your repositories. You own it.

How it works

Read-only from start to finish.

How I work inside your AWS account
  1. 1

    Free AWS Savings Snapshot

30 minutes on your bill with a senior engineer. No access needed.

  2. 2

    Read-only access

A read-only role in AWS and the cluster. Nothing changes in production.

  3. 3

    The review

Nuno reads the bill, the clusters and the pipelines, and talks to one or two of your engineers.

  4. 4

    Readout

Scores, quick wins and the plan, presented to your team.

  5. 5

    Your choice

Run the plan yourselves, or have Nuno run it as a fixed-scope project or as your part-time platform team.

Results from past work

What the follow-up work delivered for clients.

Senior, hands-on

The review is done by a CNCF Kubestronaut, not handed to a junior team.

Savings first

The quick wins are sized so they can pay for the review.

No lock-in

Read-only during the review, code in your repositories after.

FAQ

Questions teams ask first.

How long does it take?
It depends on the size of your setup. We agree it on the call, before anything starts.
Do you need write access?
No. The review uses read-only access. Changes come later as pull requests you approve.
What if we are not on EKS or AWS?
The cost part works for any cloud bill. For GKE, AKS, Azure or Google Cloud, ask on the call.
Do we have to start with the Snapshot?
No. If you already know you want the review, say so on the call and we scope it.
Will this disrupt production?
No. Nothing is changed during the review.
What happens after the review?
You keep the report and the plan. If you want help, Nuno can run it as a fixed-scope project or as your part-time platform team.
How much does it cost?
Every setup is different, so each review is scoped and priced individually. We share it on the call.
